Northrop Grumman highlighted its corporate-wide capabilities in cybersecurity in a media briefing July 29 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Linda Mills, corporate vice president and president Northrop Grumman Information Systems, said the company addresses cybersecurity challenges across all domains and will continue to pursue large, enterprise-wide cybersecurity integration efforts.

Mills, who is also the corporation's lead executive for cybersecurity, emphasized NG's leadership role in this area, which is based on more than a decade of experience supporting the DoD and intelligence community and then leveraging that expertise to enhance the security of the U.S. Critical Infrastructure and the "Dot.Gov" world of civilian agencies.

The briefing showcased the technology behind protecting Northrop Grumman’s own network – one of private industry’s largest and most sophisticated – and looked at the next generation of cyber solutions to meet growing cyber threats. Our current suite of cybersecurity solutions is further augmented by our advanced research efforts in this field -- particularly in the areas of modeling, simulation, and visualization -- and our expanding relationships with technology industry partners and major research universities.

Joining Mills in answering reporters’ questions were Dan Allen, sector vice president and general manager Intelligence Systems Division, Tim McKnight, vice president and chief information security officer, and Al Pisani, vice president of business development Civil Systems Division.
