NETCENTS

Overview

NETCENTS is a strategic opportunity for us to grow our longstanding partnership with the Air Force in implementing global integrated solutions to meet NETCENTS needs now and into the future. This relationship provides valuable insight into the challenges the Air Force must overcome as they transform their current platform-centric infrastructure to align with the “infostructure” vision of Network-Centric Information Technology, Networking, Telephony, and Security (NCITNTS). Based on our Information Transport System (ITS) and Voice Switching Systems (VSS) experiences, we recognize that each customer site and its users are unique and that their individual needs must be satisfied within the framework of an overarching enterprise vision and direction.

Our Northrop Grumman team is a major Air Force and DoD prime contractor and the largest supplier of IT systems and services to the Federal Government. We have an extensive commercial IT practice supporting more than 200,000 desktops and an award winning customer service center that can support NETCENTS worldwide. We are the number 1 non-OEM IT supplier to the Federal Government under the GSA Schedule, which gives us exceptional capability to support the Information Technology Commodity Council (ITCC). We manage all of our internal Northrop Grumman networks, which support more than 700,000 IP addresses and 130,000 employees at nearly 200 worldwide sites. All of our employees use the same e-mail systems and the same common operating environment.
