Reliable, ready and affordable

Designed specifically to protect rotary wing and medium fixed wing aircraft from IR missiles, our CIRCM offering is built on open architecture to work with existing hardware, simplify upgrades, and keep lifecycle costs low.

Our solution uses a compact ECLIPSE pointer/tracker, a lightweight COTS processor and advanced Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) technology for greater reliability and scalability.

The proven team

Northrop Grumman and its teammates are leading the way in laser DIRCM. We have installed systems on over 70 aircraft types – more than 1200 individual rotary and fixed wing aircraft in total. Our CIRCM team includes Leonardo MW Ltd., Northrop Grumman's IRCM partner for more than 15 years, and Daylight Solutions, an innovator in QCL-based laser technology.
