Since 2001, Northrop Grumman Integrated Defence Services (IDS) has delivered through-life support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF) 84 Wing, 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra.

The high-performing Northrop Grumman team comprising approximately 50 staff provides all levels of engineering, maintenance, training and logistics support to the entire fleet, which includes two Boeing-737s and three Bombardier Challenger CL604 aircraft.

Northrop Grumman IDS supports the fleet 24 hours a day, seven days a week to consistently deliver high aircraft availability and around-the-clock support for this critical aircraft fleet. Whatever the composition of the fleet, IDS can provide a best-value solution to the customer while minimising risk of aircraft availability and unanticipated increases in contract costs.
