Did you know what you wanted to do after graduation?
I knew exactly what I wanted to do—I wanted to be an application programmer/developer.

Were you always interested in the Health IT/Public Health field?
Before joining Northrop Grumman, I was focused on the financial and credit marketing IT fields. After joining the company, I was given the chance to expand my skills into Health IT/Public Health. That opportunity broadened my interest in the field.

How did you find out about Northrop Grumman?
My wife, who is prior active duty military, told me what a great company Northrop Grumman is, and encouraged me to research it.

What made you decide to choose Northrop Grumman over other opportunities?
Northrop Grumman is the leader in global security. I wanted to use my IT knowledge to help support the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) public health mission and goals.

What drew you to Health IT work at Northrop Grumman?
While researching Northrop Grumman, I learned about the work they were doing not only within the CDC but in other areas of government as well. I recognized that they were one of the best and I wanted to be a part of that.

What has your experience been like with the company?
My experience with Northrop Grumman has been great. From the support of my program manager to the encouragement of the whole CDC/IISB team, it has been a pleasure being part of such a dynamic company.

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is the work that I'm currently doing. In collaboration with the IISB team, I'm developing an innovative application system that will help support the IIS Sentinel Site.
