Giving back to the community is interwoven into the culture at Northrop Grumman. Our employees' support, dedication and passion helps strengthen the partnerships we b​uild in the communities where we work and live. Volunteerism is encouraged as a way to network, team build and develop leadership skills while giving back to the community. We provide Community Service Grants in recognition of our employees' volunteer efforts, whether at a Northrop Grumman volunteer event or when volunteering on their own.

Eligible employees can apply for a $400 Community Service Grant benefitting the non-profit organization or school for which they volunteer. To be eligible for consideration, an employee must volunteer at least 40 hours of service to a 501(c)(3) non -profit, nonpartisan and nonreligious organization or school from October 1 through September 30 of the following year. In addition, to qualify, the employee must log their volunteer hours in the My Giving portal. For step -by -step application instructions and FAQS visit the My Giving portal and select "Guidelines".
