Northrop Grumman’s Aid to Higher Education funding supports organizations defined as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service. Proposals should address education-related initiatives that promote the advancement of science, technology, engineering and math at targeted colleges and universities.

How to Submit a Request for a Financial Contribution

Grant requests should be submitted using this web site. To apply for a grant, you will be asked to enter the organization’s Tax Exempt Number, which will be automatically validated with the IRS database. You also will be required to include the following information in your application:

  1. University or College contact name, title, address phone number, fax number.
  2. Brief history of the organization, mission statement, goals and objectives.
  3. Type and scope of services offered, and the geographical area serviced.
  4. Specific details as to how requested funds would be used.
  5. Project budget and amount requested.
  6. Demographic impact.
  7. Current operating budget including latest financial statement.
  8. List of other corporate funders.
  9. List of directors and/or officers, and their affiliations.
  10. Northrop Grumman employee sponsor, if applicable (name and phone number).
  11. Contact information
