Performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment. May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division.



The candidate will be required to work in a team environment as well as  independently to analyze data, generate financial reports, resolve problems, and provide guidance, analysis, and opinions of the financial status of a program or programs to the program management office, customer, and internal senior leadership. The candidate will develop budgets and act as key expert in financial analysis issues, concerns and project financial status, including day to day support of assigned programs, contracts and subcontracts. Selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submittal of both internal and customer reports including monthly program reviews, Estimate At Complete (EAC), Estimate To Complete (ETC), and internal revenue, cash, and backlog forecasts.

Basic Qualifications: - BS degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree and five years experience is required.   Experience with multiple contract types (CPFF/CPIF, FFP/FPIF) desired. Exposure and experience with Earned Value Management is a plus. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.   Ability to multi-task and work ad-hoc requests on short notice.   Must be proficient/expert in the use of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables, Microsoft Word and  PowerPoint.  Familiarity with Deltek Accounting Systems, COBRA  and Cognos is a plus.
