Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the BAMS-D Ground Segment team at NAS Patuxent River, MD. 
What Youll get to Do:
The selected candidate will provide operational lab support and ensure system hardware/software installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, information assurance, and repair activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.  The selected candidate will be required to work a rotating schedule that will include weekends and holidays.
Duties will include: 
  • Ensuring that system is made operational and available, at times specified by the customer
  • Collecting and reporting system maintenance data metrics to support Reliability and Maintainability efforts
  • Ensuring the system is configured in accordance with the Programs Configuration and Data Management Plans
  • Maintaining documentation and SOPs
  • Providing inventory control for system spares
  • Providing software maintenance, and installing software upgrades and patches

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) and 10+ years experience in a technical position supporting server environments
Advanced Windows administrator skills to include active directory administration
Experience in VMware environment
CompTIA Security+ CE certification
Current Active (DoD) Secret security clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Information Assurance experience
Linux Red Hat version 5/6
Cisco networking
Network+/Window OS certification
Active DoD Top Secret
