Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Associate Engineer Material Process to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach , CA.

Essential Functions :

Electrical M&P Labs (EMPL) needs an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for both planning lab activities and hands-on lab work at the Electrical Materials &a Processes Labs. EMPL Lab Electrical Engineer will be responsible from planning and performing lab tasks such as visual inspections, component level electrical testing, and support senior Failure Analysis engineers. EMPL Lab Electrical Engineer will communicate status & issues with all stakeholders (programs, functional, etc) on a regular basis. Candidate should be familiar with Military Standards such as Mil-Std-750, Mil-Std-883, Mil-Std-202. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to summarize and present data to customers.


Basic Qualifications: 
 Bachelors Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
 Experience in hands on- electrical engineering and familiarity with military standards

  Must have working knowledge of SAP

Preferred Qualifications: 
 Must be able to communicate with various level of leadership 
Experience with operating a curve trace and component lever electrical testing
 Proficient in SAP
