Northrop Grumman Corporation will be participating at AUVSI North America 2011, the premier forum for introducing, evaluating and discussing current and future unmanned systems. The exhibition and conference will bring together key leaders and decision-makers from government and user organizations around the world.
Northrop Grumman's key program representatives will be at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center August 16-19, 2011.
Beginning August 16, the company will be hosting an exhibition of its air-land-sea dominance in unmanned systems as well as a series of press conferences that are company-oriented as well as customer-driven on key initiatives and programs that represent the expansive use of unmanned technologies across all domains for multiple mission objectives.
The press conference series will begin on August 16 with Paul Meyer, Sector Vice President and General Manager of the company's Aerospace Systems Advanced Programs and Technology division. As the lead executive for the corporation's all-domain unmanned systems strategy group, Meyer will talk about the challenges and opportunities of growing the unmanned market space, and discuss the company's focus and leadership in expanding the utility and realistic employment of unmanned systems across the world. The press conference series will continue through the week, touching on a variety of topics including unmanned ground vehicles; unmanned air systems such as Firebird, Global Hawk, UCAS-D, BAMS and LEMV; and other enablers such as HART, Common Mission Management System and payloads.
