Volunteers
Giving back to the communities where employees live and work is standard practice at Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Citizenship organization has therefore established a social network site to recognize our employees, showcase volunteer opportunities and build participation. The site provides employees with a central location where they can:
- Find volunteer opportunities
- Sign-up for events
- Track and report on their volunteer hours
- Network with other volunteers in the company and in their area
Eligible participants:
- Active full-time employees
- Part-time employees (20+ hrs/week)
How to Sign Up
Employees with "MyID" can directly go to the Northrop Grumman Volunteer Web site.
For those without "MyID," there are several steps you can take to obtain yours, such as:
- Go to your Microsoft Outlook, find the Global E-mail Directory, and look up your name. When you click on your name for more details, a Properties dialog box will appear. Look under the first tab which is labeled "General." Your "MyID" should be listed at the bottom of the first column.
- Go to the myNGC portal and click on the "Northrop Grumman Employee Directory" in the Hot Links menu on the right-hand side.
- Once there, type in your first and last name or your badge number, click on Search, and find your "MyID."
- Once you see your "MyID" write it down, proceed to the Volunteer site, and follow the online instructions.
- Check your paystub for the "MyID" number.
