Having Fun With STEM!

STEMFlix with Science Bob

With help from Boston science teacher and frequent TV guest, Science Bob, you will learn about these topics through videos that include experiments you can do at home, as well as some crazy demonstrations that show just how STEM works.

Because when you think about it, STEM makes nearly everything we enjoy in our daily lives possible – from the circuits that make computer tablets work, to the materials used to make snowboards that allow you to do cool tricks!

And what about some of things that you’d LIKE to do one day, like travel through time?! Well, while you might not be able to click your heels and end up back in the land of the dinosaurs just yet, the technology to make it possible may be closer than you think – all thanks to STEM!

So check out our STEM Flix™ schedule and look out for Science Bob while at the movies this summer. And don’t forget to check in often for great stuff here on our website.

And have fun with STEM!

Why Does the Northrop Grumman Foundation Love STEM so Much?

The Northrop Grumman Foundation presents STEM Flix™ because we love STEM! And we love STEM because science, technology, engineering and mathematics make so many things possible.

Our Foundation is a charitable giving arm of a company that makes everything from robots to satellites, allowing people to communicate with each other, help explore new horizons, protect our citizens, and so much more.

For us, STEM is about being creative and coming up with new ideas that test our limits – like how to travel through time! Or, coming up with solutions, like those that help our environment. But mostly, it’s about constantly looking for new ways to help us keep up with our changing needs. That’s called INNOVATION!

We want you to love STEM as much as we do, and so we’ve made it our mission to create and support programs like STEM Flix™, that get teachers and students excited about STEM so that our future is never short of great ideas – developed by you – tomorrow’s scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians!
