High School Involvement Partnership - HIP
Northrop Grumman Corporation’s national recognized High School Involvement Partnership Program (HIP) is currently in its 30th year of providing internships to high school seniors. HIP is one of our strategic ways we partner with schools to build stronger communities and help encourage young people to achieve their educational goals. The program provides on-the-job training and mentoring from volunteer employee instructors. Students receive training in their choice of more than 30 disciplines such as engineering, manufacturing, composites, accounting, tooling, medical care, fire fighting and office administration. By successfully completing the program, the students earn 10 high school credits toward their diploma.
