Jerry Agee


Jerry Agee is corporate vice president for Northrop Grumman Corporation. Agee is a member of Northrop Grumman's Corporate Policy Council on special assignment to Ronald D. Sugar, Northrop Grumman's chairman and chief executive officer, until his retirement in August 2008.

Most recently, he served as president of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems until early 2008, overseeing operations of the sector’s defense and intelligence businesses ─ command and control systems; network communications; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR); and strategic missiles systems, including missile defense, ICBM Prime Integration Contract, and Kinetic Energy Interceptors. Agee worked extensively with the intelligence community in addressing critical modernization efforts, repositioning and expanding the company’s business in the ISR market.

Agee became deputy president of Mission Systems in 2004. He previously served as deputy general manager for the Strategic Systems business and vice president and general manager of the Intelligence Systems business unit. Earlier, as vice president and general manager of the Federal Enterprise Systems division, he had oversight for many major programs, including the Internal Revenue Service Tax Systems Modernization effort; the Treasury Communications System, the largest non-defense communications system in the Federal government; and EDGAR, the online electronic filing and dissemination system for the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Agee joined the company in 1987 following a 20-year career as a U.S. Naval Intelligence officer.

Agee has served on the board of directors of the Enterprise Solutions division of the Information Technology Association of America, the board of directors of the Professional Services Council, and the board of directors for the Council for Electronic Revenue Communication Advancement. He is currently active in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Agee earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs/economics from Florida State University and completed postgraduate work at the University of Maryland and the University of North Florida.. He attended the Defense Intelligence College and executive education programs at the University of Virginia and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
