Description

Join Northrop Grummans Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS) division leading a program within the Global Cyber Solutions business unit focused on executing and expanding cyber programs and capabilities for the Department of Defense (DoD). Be part of the team developing Northrop Grummans solutions to support global growth security and intelligence purposes. Come be part of a team working to enhance the ability to develop and deploy software to the mission at speeds never achieved before.

This DevSecOps Director position is responsible for assessing, defining, implementing and/or supporting DevSecOps programs for NG or our customers. This position will lead and grow a dedicated DevSecOps team and help position the company to better meet and exceed customer expectations. Engagements span from simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level transformation programs. This role will report directly to the Global Cyber Solutions (GCS) business unit vice president.

Roles and responsibilities:

Support our Customers achieving the benefits that DevSecOps can offer

Design and implement DevSecOps platforms which covers areas such as integrating security into build automation, deployment automation, test automation, SDLC orchestration, environment management, monitoring, and production release procedures

Coach, mentor and develop less senior DevSecOps team members

Promote DevSecOps culture in our customers and embed it in our captures and RFP responses

Drive adoption of tools and practices as our customers transition to DevSecOps

Assist in internal NG migration and adoption of DevSecOps

Ability to apply knowledge and experience in a waterfall development lifecycle where warranted

Experience and ability to act in a consultative capacity

Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Desire to work in an information systems environment

Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Able to meet requirements for retaining professional security certifications

Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

Exposure/working understanding of container technology such as Docker, OpenShift

Exposure to vulnerability and threat assessment/remediation

Exposure to governance, reporting and escalation best practices

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of directly related professional work experience with a Masters degree or 8 years of directly related professional work experience with a Bachelors degree; or four years in lieu of a degree.

Experience implementing agile/SAFe processes

Experience in the cyberspace mission domain, preferably in offensive cyberspace, defensive cyberspace, or cyberspace C2

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules and executive support

Extensive experience developing and maintaining strong customer relationships

Extensive experience with performance metrics and analysis

Management of multiple projects and priorities while meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements

US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications: 

Excellent executive-level written and verbal communications skills

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret government security clearance with SCI access

Experience in the Cyberspace mission domain, including offensive or defensive cyberspace

Experience with DoD or IC programs and customers
