The Cyber Program Manager position will be located in Arlington, VA.

Position Description:

 

The qualified applicant will responsible for leading a team of experienced cyber security professionals responsible for reviewing, researching, vetting and documenting computer network defense attributes in a call center environment. Duties include but not limited to:

         Manage a team of Incident Response Analysts in a 24x7x365 environment.

         Develop a performance measurements framework and facilitate feedback system to team members on issues such as customer service, communication, and technical skills, in order to enhance the quality of support delivered.

         Participate in the development of a service level agreements and ongoing management of service level compliance and performance goals.

         Create and maintain a training program for increased business, customer service and technical knowledge.

         Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer and business needs.

         Resolve escalated customer and vendor issues.

         Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.

         Manage Cyber Operations Center resources for optimal performance. This will consist of resource management for incoming customer inquiries, projects, and administrative responsibilities.

         Maintain a high level of employee morale within the team by creating a high performance organization.

         Obtain equipment, tools, and space needed to allow team members to adequately support the customers.

         Develop and update plans for new product/service releases.

         Prepare and train the support team for new product/service releases.

         Assist in the professional and technical development of team leaders enabling them to set technical goals, monitor, mentor, and coach and assist team members to deliver quality support.

         Assist the Operations Center director with the preparation and administration of departmental budget and business plans and metrics.

         Conduct research that focuses on identification rapidly emerging cyber threats, and the methods and processes employed by adversary employment of cyber intrusions.

         Perform analysis and tracking process, including highly focused studies and analyses to support development of processes for the identification, refinement, and prioritization methodology of Cyber requirements.

         Conducts research and evaluates technical and all-source cyber intelligence to develop in-depth analysis and assessment on threats to critical networks and critical infrastructure.

         Conduct complex cyber intelligence analysis, coordination, and interaction across a broad range of joint and interagency activities.

         Coordinate with technical, forensic and incident management personnel to develop a comprehensive understanding of the intent, objectives and activity of cyber threat actors.

         Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on sophisticated data/information collection, and research, using classified and open source information sources.

         Produce high-quality deliverables (e.g. white papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings) for senior US government intelligence and network operations officials.

         Support the development of performance metrics.

         Assist with developing and maintaining documented processes and procedures.

         Work effectively with a diverse group of Information Technology and Security professionals in US government, foreign governments and the private sector.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. 

 

         Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 10 years related technical experience required.  An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

         Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.  In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.

         10 years of operations and/or service desk experience.

         5 years managing an IT Service Desk or related function.
