Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.



Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems sector is seeking a Quality Analysis Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Beavercreek, Ohio.



Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
  • Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
  • Determines the resources required for quality control.
    Maintains the level of quality throughout the product life cycle.
  • Conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the product development/manufacturing life cycle.
  • Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to team members utilizing management guidelines and general policies.
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
  • Interfaces with operations, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
    Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 years applicable technical experience in one or more of the following areas: mission/quality assurance, supporting systems engineering, systems integration, data analytics, and other related engineering disciplines. 
  • Quality/Mission Assurance and/or process knowledge and understanding
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:


Prior work experience in a fast-paced, variable environment.
Product development or project management experience.
Quality/Mission Assurance and/or Process experience
Good understanding of the CMMI and/or AS9100 standards
