Northrop Grumman Mission Systems at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented, Intelligence Analyst with experience working with a wide variety of intelligence disciplines to include: Persistent Infrared (PIR) Intelligence, Measurement and Signal Intelligence (MASINT), and/or, Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT). The selected analyst will support the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program (ATEP).  All work will be completed at the customer site the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).  


The selected analyst will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research and providing technical analysis of PIR data in support of answering customer requirements.

  • Become a subject-matter expert on targets of interest; providing detailed analytical reports of findings.  May be required to brief these findings to organizational leadership.

  • Identifying changes in target metrics that may identify a potential adversary advantage.

  • Drafting technical reports of all analytical findings using a variety of technical tools, theories, and concepts; reports may be disseminated to customers throughout the IC.

  • Communicate across teams and directly with customers to ensure final product quality.


Basic Qualifications:

  • A college degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) field

A STEM Associates degree + 6 years intelligence experience

A STEM Bachelors + 4 years intelligence experience

A STEM Masters degree with 0 years of intelligence experience

  • Experience fulfilling national level DoD requirements in an effort to answer highly technical questions pertaining to intelligence collection
  • Prior experience working with classification handling and marking protocols.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • US Citizenship required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Cockpit aviation experience

  • Experience exploiting PIR data either in first, second, or third phase analysis settings

  • Experience analyzing and drafting reports directly related to PIR data

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C/C++, IDL and MATLAB

  • Familiarity with PIR/geospatial collection architecture and/or analysis

  • Experience collaborating with customers across the intelligence community

  • Experience using any of the following tools:  ArcGIS, IOTS, TMS, Google Earth, CATS, Opticks, SIPRNet and JWICS experience.

  • Experience working in NASIC or directly with NASIC analysts/customers
