Our Bethpage, NY office is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to perform the following:   

Digital Design Engineering to create circuit card designs utilizing the latest FPGA technologies from all major vendors and device families including Xilinx, Altera, and Actel, and support high speed interfaces, Radio Frequency (RF) and ElectroOptical (EO) DSP, controls, data links, embedded processing and processor interfaces. As a Digital Electrical Engineer, you will join our diverse team and be responsible for research, design, development of digital hardware products. Your expertise in digital component design and analysis, modeling and simulation, and circuit level design and test are desired for this position.
 
 
This position may be filled at either the Engineer or Principal Engineer level based on the qualifications listed below

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications for Digital Design Engineer:
-Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.  
-Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience (0 years with MS degree)
-Digital circuit design experience, including schematic capture through test and integration.  
-Proven skills to include: communicating with all levels of an organization internally and externally, adaptable, creative, collaborative and also comfortable working independently and enjoys solving difficult problems.  
-US Citizen and ability to obtain government security clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal Digital Design Engineer:
-Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.  
-Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience (3 years with MS degree or 0 years with PhD) -Digital circuit design experience, including schematic capture through test and integration.  
-Proven skills to include: communicating with all levels of an organization internally and externally, adaptable, creative, collaborative and also comfortable working independently and enjoys solving difficult problems.  
-US Citizen and ability to obtain government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.  - Experience  in HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and HVL (Systems Verilog).
- Ability to work in teams and experience in Electrical Design Automation tools : Mentor Graphics, Model SIM/QuestaSim, Symplicity, Xilinx ISE/Vivado, Xilinx EDK, Xilinz Systems Generator.
- Experience in achieving timing closure on FPGA designs and generation test benches. Implementation of Digital Signal Processing or Image Processing Algorithms in FPGAs.
- Experience with high level programming languages (C/C++)
