Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer level 3 or 4 to work with our team in Chantilly, VA. This is a challenging opportunity to work on some of the hardest and most exciting issues in our customer organization. 


Roles & Responsibilities:

 

       Provide SME Technical support services to the Sponsors Operation Support Division. The emphasis of this activity shall be to establish and maintain operational awareness across the sponsors operational support infrastructure and any business systems utilized to support operations. 


       Organize and facilitate TEMS (technical exchange meetings), consolidate and compose technical information into clear, readable documents used to support the sponsors infrastructure support services; to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.

Qualifications




This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4


 


Level 3: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


Level 4: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


Basic Qualifications:


       Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security Clearance with a Polygraph

       Experience as an Operational System Engineer

       Understanding of enterprise-level web-based presentation framework (i.e. Jquery, HTML, CSS, javascript)

       Scripting experience (BASH, PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation or simplification.

       Expertise in relational databases to include writing complex queries and modifying schema for software such as Oracle and MySQ

       Understanding of and experience with web scripting languages (i.e. Javascript, PHP

       Proficient developing in a linux environment


Preferred Qualifications


       XML/XSLT/CSS/HTML

       Proficient with defensive cyber counter intelligence

       Understanding of webserver configuration and maintenance

       Understanding of Laravel PHP web framework or similar tool sets (e.g. Spring, Hibernate)

       Experience with Linux network security tools

       Familiarity with MVC architecture

       Experience in Agile software methodologies or equivalent
