Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer 3 or 4 to work in our Chantilly location. This is a challenging opportunity to work on some of the hardest and most exciting issues in our customer organization. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

       Perform technical risk assessment. 

       Combine components into a functioning multi-layer network of heterogeneous devices and applications. 

       Inspect and replicate similar systems.

Qualifications

 


This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4

 

Level 3: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

 

Level 4: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

 

 

       Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security Clearance with a Polygraph

       IC/Military experience must be in support of intelligence collection operations

       Working knowledge of Windows 7 (to current) and Windows 2003 (to current) operating.

       Working knowledge of UNIX or UNIX-like (Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, BSD,etc.) Operating System releases within the last 10 years.

       Object-Oriented or Structured Language (C, C++, Java, .NET, Python, etc.) coding experience.

       Experience working with RF technology

 

 

 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

       Core network device (switch/router/hub) technology, configuration and maintenance experience

       Scripting experience (BASH, PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation or simplification.

       Database Administration and application development with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.

       Wireless (WiFi/WiMax/Bluetooth) technology (hardware or core software).

       Wired telephony technology (hardware or core software). --Mobile telephony technology (hardware or core software).

       Has strong communications skills and knowledge of complex geographic and functional issues.

       Has proven ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.
