Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems Group in Clearfield, Utah is seeking an experienced MRB Manager


 


Liaison/MRB Engineering Manager I (Must have current and active secret clearance to be considered)


 


Lead a team providing liaison engineering support for Advanced Composite Structures.


You will be working with composite structures, aluminum and titanium components, and subsystems installations


You will be performing timely dispositions for nonconforming parts, assemblies, and installations.


You will be working as part of a Material Review Board (MRB)


You will be working with a team of engineers coordinating with multiple disciplines to determine solutions to problems quickly and efficiently.


The product you will be working with is defined in NX using solid model based definition in a Teamcenter based PLM system.


This position may be required for periodic nights and/or weekend shifts


 


Qualifications:


 


Basic Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in ME, AE or Civil Eng from accredited institution along with 8+ years of engineering experience


Experience with CATIA V5 or NX 


Current Active In-Scope DOD Secret clearance


Ability to obtain SSBI, Special Program Access (PAR)


 


Preferred Qualifications:


Masters Degree in ME, AE or Civil Eng


2 or more years experience in a lead or management position


In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).


In-depth experience with design and/or analysis of composite and metallic aerospace structures


Experience with manufacturing processes for composite structures and metallic components


Full life cycle of an air/space vehicle design support process.


Familiar with M&P testing and analysis of composite structure.


Team player and demonstrated exceptional collaboration.


Active MRB authority.
