Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Network Management SME in support of the C2BMC program.  Come be a part of our mission!
 
What Youll Get to Do:
Candidate will be responsible for designing and planning network communications systems on the C2BMC program for its infrastructure.
 
The candidate will perform the following tasks:
  • Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
  • Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Conduct testing of network design.
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
  • Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications: 
Youll Bring These Qualifications:
 
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 9 Years with Bachelors degree in a STEM-related field; 14 years experience in lieu of a degree.
  • DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Security +, GSEC, SCNP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
  • Industry vendor certifications from Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE) 
  • Strong Redhat Enterprise Linux experience (red Hat Certified System Administrator preferred)
  • Knowledge of network architecture design, development and testing methodologies
  • Experience loading and modifying MIBS and SEED files.
  • Experience using protocol analyzers/sniffers (such as tcpdump, Wireshark, OPNET, ACElive & ITGuru)
  • Authentication methods (TACACS+, Active Directory, GPOs, and GEM One Ecryptor Manager
  • Proven Communication Network Engineering in the DoD environment.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organization
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of MDA and the BMDS.
  • STIG implementation and standards.
  • Experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP protocols
  • Excellent presentation skills using Powerpoint and Visio, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who aren't technically trained.
  • The skill to take on a variety of tasks and pay attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your workload.
