Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.


Job Responsibilities:

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) Program, responsible for supporting the FAA on oversight of Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) of the TFMS and TFDM, and for providing the FAA with systems test support for the TFMS TFDM.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct technical reviews of DT&E plans, procedures, and reports
  • Provide oversight of informal/formal DT&E events
  • Develop plans, procedures, and reports for system testing performed
  • Support and conduct system tests on releases and patches
  • Some shift work may be required based on lab availability



Basic Qualifications: 


  • Bachelors degree in an applicable field of study and 6 or more years of relevant experience; 10 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience developing test plans, procedures, and report
  • Linux operating system experience
  • Microsoft Office experience (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • US Citizenship required 
  • Ability to get a Public Trust Clearance 

Preferred Qualifications: 


  • Bachelors degree in an applicable field of study and 10 or more years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 7 years relevant experience; or 15 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience developing test plans, procedures and reports for FAA systems in accordance with the AMS T&E Guidelines
  • Experience testing the FAA's TFMS or TFDM
  • Experience with Oracle SQL and/or Oracle SQL Developer 
  • Able to review and developer test scenarios that mimic the FAA National Airspace System (NAS)
  • Knowledge/experience in the FAA SWIM NEMS area
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience including the creation of Macros
