Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Requirements Engineer based out of El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Huntsville, AL.

 

What Youll get to Do:

 

This role includes filling in on the programmatic side (CAM duties schedule, highlights, status, etc.), as well as the technical side (technical direction, ensuring work is completing on time, troubleshooting, reviewing, etc.) when needed.  Manage requirements development from the B-spec, B-spec allocation, C-spec, etc. in DOORS.  Experience with verification planning (RVPs).

Qualifications

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Level or a Sr. Principal Level. 

 

Basic Qualifications of a Principal Systems Engineer, Requirements are:

  • Current Secret security clearance required with an investigation within the past 6 years
  • 5 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 3 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 0 Years with a PhD
  • Ability to use DOORS.
  • Experience with verification planning

Basic Qualifications of a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer, Requirements are:

  • Current Secret security clearance required with an investigation within the past 6 years
  • 9 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 7 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 4 Years with a PhD
  • Ability to use DOORS.
  • Experience with verification planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, cost-constrained environment.
  • Motivated, self-starter who takes ownership for success of his/her products
