Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist 4 - Material Integration to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.

 

Selected individual will be the main GSC focal point for all WHIRL activities responsible for coordinating with the test engineering team for planning, scheduling, ordering, tracking, and delivery of various test hardware needed for the Qualification Test effort.

--Collaborates across all functions to align efforts and bridge gaps

--Identifies and mitigates risk to cost and schedule

--Helps remove constraints and clear paths for procurement

--Provides status and visibility to management

 

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.  Success in this role will require the following: Interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, organizational and time management, ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities.

 

This position will work closely with Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Advanced Planning/MRP, Procurement, Sourcing, and Delivery Management.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


--Bachelor's degree


--10 years of experience in any of the following: Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Advanced Planning/MRP, Procurement, Sourcing, Delivery Management, OPM, and Shop Floor Integration OR Master's degree with 8 years of experience


--Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level, and Special Program Access


--Minimum 1 year experience working in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products)


 


Preferred Qualifications:


--Active Secret Clearance


--Project Management experience


--Experience with horizontal integration across multiple functions


--Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications


--Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
