Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Numerical Control Programmer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.


Essential Functions:

Create numerical control inspection programs using machine peculiar software programming languages. Develop and analyze inspection data to assure conformity to engineering requirements. Analyze tool models during design process. Create 3D models of engineering parts for inspection programming use. Interface with manufacturing engineering and tooling representatives to maintain quality performance and solve discrepancies with regards to engineering and tool design requirements.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
  • 5 years of manufacturing and quality experience

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • A working knowledge of Catia V5, NX 6, Coordinate Measuring Machines, Manufacturing and Tool Fabrication methodologies.
