Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Sr. Principal Contract Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  The position will be located in Fair Lakes office in Fairfax, Virginia.

Responsibilities include: 


  • Administer, extend, negotiate, terminate and close out standard and non-standard contracts and agreements
  • Produce high quality contract management related products supporting the business unit

  • Interface with customers and business partners and conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration

  • Examine solicitations, proposal requirements and estimates, prepare bids, analyze terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

  • Process contractual documentation and reports, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and perform maintenance of historical information

  • Facilitate proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA as required

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and respond to data calls on a timely basis

  • Maintain contracts files and databases

  • Prepare proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and various types of other contractual documents and memoranda 

  • Ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation, and customer relationships







Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline with 10 years of experience in contract administration or a Master's degree and 8 years of experience

  • Knowledge of pricing principles, FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Requires the ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines as well as handle multiple tasks

  • Must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, effectively work with external customers and meet the goals/objectives of the Business Unit

  • US Citizenship required

  • Requires active TS/SCI Clearance (with polygraph preferred)
