The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Cyber Security Infrastructure Management, Monitoring, and Governance concepts, products and implementation methodologies along with system security engineering principles to provide realistic solutions designed to enhance the overall security posture of the system. The candidate is expected to be strong in both technical and soft skills, must be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve, communicate, participate in diverse project teams from a technical perspective, and interface effectively with our internal customers and colleagues.

This position is located in Fairfax, Virginia. This position may be filled as a level 2 or 3. NGMSCIMS


Basic Qualifications:
Level 2:Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience, a Masters Degree with no experience required, or a total of 6 years of experience without a degree.

Level 3:Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience, a Masters Degree and 3 or more years of experience, a PhD with no experience required, or a total of 9 years of experience without a degree.
Active TS/SCI and Polygraph Clearance

Experience working with stakeholders regarding policy, development and governance
Ability to facilitate app enablement with security scanning and monitoring services
Solid understanding of security tools and services,
Proven track record of defining requirements and recommending design modifications
Experience developing Interface Control Documents (ICD) and CONOPS and facilitating security tool adoption by system owners and developer entities

Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience with SPLUNK, Symantec AV, Clam AV, McAfee AV
AWS hands-on experience
Working knowledge of AWS Security Services
Experience with Linux and Windows administration
Experience with Security scanning tools
Provide innovative ideas to DevOps, system security, and cloud automation
