Description

Are you interested in leading software development team in a fast faced environment utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies for a very interesting mission Then this position is for you. This position is a combination of systems engineering and technical leadership across a suite of applications in a multi-platform environment. The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading the scrum team through the Agile development process and ensure they adhere to the agile process. This role will also be responsible for break down mission and business requirements into technical requirements, communicating those requirements and dependencies with stakeholders and the engineers, and driving the development of products from conception all the way through deployment and sustainment. This role will be responsible for leading the requirements definition and the technical integration of engineering teams, including but not limited to software, and cloud infrastructure teams, to achieve the completion of product development. This role will also assist with defining and tailoring Systems Engineering processes for an Enterprise IT organization, and implementing these processes across the organization. Its an exciting role and should be a fun challenge for the ideal candidate.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 9 years of related experience, a Masters Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience, a PhD with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or a total of 13 years of experience without a degree.
Active TS/SCI and Polygraph Clearance
Minimum of 10 years technical experience with increasing levels of responsibility providing technical oversight, stakeholder management and participation, problem resolution.
Previous experience leading an Agile Scrum team at a fast-paced environment
Experience providing guidance/oversight for release planning, including collaboration and communication with the operations team to keep current on deployment readiness
Experience leading software development teams
Ability to understand complex issues and facilitate resolution
Ability to triage scrum team issues based on priority, impact, risk, release timing & external dependencies
Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues
Outstanding time management skills and attention to details
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with senior leadership in the IC community.
Familiarity with concepts such as DevOps, ITIL, and Cloud Technologies
Industry relevant certifications (CISSP, Java related, AWS related, Cloud related, Agile related, etc.)
Understanding of big data cloud scalability
Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing clear technical direction
