Northrop Grumman Technology Services (NGTS) is seeking an F-35 Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade Integration (MRO&U) Lead to manage F-35 scheduling, planning, and integration activities for NGTS Dept of Navy (DoN) CONUS Contract Field Team (CFT) and Depot operations from the North Beach Street F-35 program facility in Ft Worth, TX.  
The selected candidate will support the execution of CFT MRO&U operations at five DoN CONUS locations, helping Northrop Grumman achieve superior results on the highly visible F-35 program.  The selected candidates performance as the NGTS Director of Program's primary integration representative, working alongside and coordinating with program partners at the Ft Worth facility, will directly impact NGs objective of optimizing our role as a key partner in the F-35 program. 
The manager in this position reports directly to the NGTS Director of Programs at the Beach Street Facility while integrating with the F-35 program resource integration team.  Acts as the primary liaison for all post-delivery Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) DoN CFT modifications, guides the successful implementation of F-35 modification efforts, and coordinates with CFT supervisors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost compliance. 
Manages scheduling, planning, and overall support for DoN CFTs as well as depot flow plan and additional support for the FRC-E Depot at Cherry Point, NC.  This support includes engineering dispositions, parts/kits, tools, materiel, and consumables. Evaluates completion of modification efforts and provides feedback to the program and CFT for continuous improvement. Provides overall status and updates to program leadership for modification development, support planning, integration, and implementation.
Successful performance in this position requires effective leadership, with excellent judgment and strong management and coordination skills.  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with host unit and program stakeholders are also keys to successful performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have either a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience -OR- an Associates degree with a minimum of 12 years of aircraft maintenance -OR- a High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 18 years of aircraft maintenance experience

  • Must have a minimum of  8 years of supervisory or management experience leading a team

  • Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fighter aircraft MRO&U experience.
  • CFT experience.
  • DoD aircraft MRO&U experience.
  • Proficient implementing Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD).
  • Proficient interpreting modification engineering drawings and manufacturing/material process specifications.
  • F-35, F-22, B-2, or other low observable (LO) program experience.
  • Project management experience
  • Experience coordinating mod/retrofit actions with diverse team of contractors and end users.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project) Suite.
  • Experience and working knowledge with F-35 sustainment tools; Product Data Manager (PDM), JSF Data Library (JDL), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
