Job Description:

  • Position requires the application of advanced technical principles to the development of space vehicle concepts and system architectures for potential customers. 
  • May be required to lead and/or assist active programs with planning spacecraft commissioning timelines; requirements derivation, analysis and verification; procedure development; trade studies; conducting spacecraft testing (in both I&T and flight). 
  • This position may require serving as a spokesperson on an advanced project with US government.

This is a temporary part-time position.


Basic Qualifications: 

  • BS in Engineering or Physics
  • 15+ Years Spacecraft Systems or Flight Operations IPT Lead
  • Proven track record of great customer service on complex spacecraft programs
  • Proven track record with performing spacecraft design trade studies, developing vehicle concepts to accommodate and enable scientific payloads, writing effective technical descriptions for proposals.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • MS in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Highly Experienced (20+ Years) Spacecraft Systems or Flight Operations IPT Lead
