Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated Computer Hardware Technician and Maintainer to join the United States Army 111th MI Brigade (TRADOC) located in Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX.


Job Duties:

  • Install and maintain desktop computer systems and user peripherals in a classroom training environment
  • Managing hardware life-cycle replacement and product warranties with various vendors
  • Create and update computer network and hardware diagrams using MS Visio
  • Troubleshoot basic network and hardware problems that arise during training


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study with two years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a technical field of study with no years of experience OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Experience installing PCs, zero or thin-clients and users peripherals on a campus/classroom setting
  • An understanding of the OSI model and basic computer networking in order to facilitate strong troubleshooting skills
  • A valid CompTIA Security+ CE certification (IAT II or higher)
  • A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+ certification
