Northrop Grumman Engineering, Systems, and Integration (ESI) business unit is a seeking a creative, skilled and motivated Software QA to join our team. This position offers an opportunity for the right candidate to ensure the quality of our companywide business applications. The successful candidate must be able to understand and follow software quality assurance best practices.  Collaborate with the software development team to test, troubleshoot and assist in resolving code issues; and work as part of a larger team.

The successful candidate will develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. This role will also Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved.



Basic Qualifications: 

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience with a BS degree; or 0 years with a Master's
  • Demonstrated experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Demonstrated experience with basic coding practices and web design principles

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
  • Technical certifications that support Software Development
  • Understanding of, or experience with:
    • Database designs
    • Web design
    • Versioning Control software (i.e. Git, TFS)
    • Automated testing tools
  • Good interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to work in an agile team environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to take on complex and challenging tasks with minimal direction and remain current on emerging technologies trends and insights
