 Northrop Grumman is in need of a Systems Administrator. Will Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.


Basic Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen
Active/Current US Secret Clearance

Bachelor's Degree with 3 yrs exp  OR  7 years exp in lieu of degree

Current IAT-I certification
 Ability to create and maintain user accounts, including limitation of capability and access.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of government processes and business rhythms
Technical Knowledge in a combination of the following: SSL, VPN, MySQL, Windows Powershell, VDI technologies, Windows Server 2012 / 2012R2
VMware Certified Professionals (VCP, VCAP, VCDX)   
Experience with Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS)

  Current Windows 7 (configurations) certification
