Description



Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a talented Systems Technician (Test Conductor 3)  responsible for full scope of maintenance/engineering support for OCONUS operational missions for the RQ-4 NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance program at NAS Sigonella Italy. 

The Systems Technician conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.  


  • Responsible for performing inspections, identifying mechanical problems and troubleshooting of aircraft systems. 
  • Familiar with aircraft subsystems such as Avionics, Fuels, Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Navigational, Sensors, and Propulsion.
  • Familiar with all forms of aircraft documentation. (781s, CAMS, IMDS, MES and AMRs)
  • Excellent communication skills, works well in a team environment, and can work independently to solve a variety of complex
  • VTC and Engine Run qualified



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree 5 years of related technical experience OR 9 years in lieu of degree.
  • Avionics, mechanical, and electrical experience required.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
  • Active US or NATO SECRET Clearance required
  • Able to commit to a 2 year overseas assignment
  • Must be able to support the 24/7 operations environment and adapt to changing priorities based on mission needs
  • Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required
