Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an experienced Sr. Information Operation (IO) Planner to conduct direct liaison, integration and synchronization US Forces Korea staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multi-national (JIIM) partners. The selected individual will provide in depth support to USFK J39 at Camp Humphreys, South Korea.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This support received by the selected individual will directly affect the USFK-J39 mission to regional stability, as well as countering additional threats to U.S. national security interests such as weapons of mass destruction and humanitarian crises. The support will provide expertise in articulating information requirements needed to drive IO planning; establish regular reporting criteria and timelines to satisfy operational and theater Information operations requirements; and interfacing with other theater intelligence activities. The selected individual will provide IO planning for staffing CONOPS, input to operations plans, while also supporting command exercises, contingency operations, planning conferences, boards, bureaus, centers and working groups. This position will be located at the Humphries Base in South Korea.
Additional Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Provide support to USFK-J39 by conducting research, forming capabilities and developing and executing IO plans
Deliver support for IO product approvals; to include tracking the progress of approvals, and informing staff and stakeholders.
Plan, synchronization, coordination and assessment of IO related capabilities in support of assigned operations.
Contribute in the development of IO Planning products.
Participate in development of plans and concepts in support of IO missions, through utilization of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP).
Provide in-depth planning in support of IO products, manages schedules, and preparing situational reports.
Produce project deliverables to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Assist in IO planning for staffing CONOPS, input to operations plans, while also supporting command exercises, contingency operations, planning conferences, boards, bureaus, centers and working groups. This position will be located at the Humphries Base in South Korea.
Conduct other planning activities in support of USAFRICOM, and USEUCOM, as assigned by Program.
Bachelor's degree and 9+ years related experience (OR an additional 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements for a combined total of a 13 years of experience)
Experience with IO planning at the service or joint level working that support operations working with Combatant Commands or Task Forces.
Experience integrating Information Related Capabilities (IRC) activities
Ability to engage senior JIIM leaders and staff, and conduct operational and informational briefings to a large audience.
Ability to develop CONOPs and coordinate approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
A current active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport, this requires U.S. Citizenship.
Proficiency in Korean language, particularly writing
Master's Degree in business, communications or similar fields
Recent Joint or Service Level Information Operation planning experience in Republic of Korea
