Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join a dynamic, innovative team that produces a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies and subsystems. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for assuring quality and conformance of products through production and test. This position will be located in Lanham, Maryland.

supports Production and Test activity utilizing MES system
- Communicates scheduled MIPs
(Mandatory Inspection Points) with customers and help plan and
execute internal inspection events to meet scheduled MIPs
- Submits products to customers
for Source Inspection and act as liaison to the program
- Interfaces with manufacturing,
engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure
requirements are met
- Recommends corrective actions,
dispositions and modifications
- Develops production inspection
plans to ensure program requirements are met.
- Reviews Work Instructions to
ensure all program requirements for Production and Test are identified and
- Performs in-process inspections
IAW NASA 8739 standard or other industry recognized workmanship standard
- Participates in disposition of
non-conforming material IAW internal procedures
- Supports on-site and off-site
test activity. Support will include verification of test set-up and review
of test data
- Develops Quality Assurance
Directive based on unique program requirements
- Works independently with
minimal supervision while meeting expectations in support of the Program.
- Performs Internal
Audits to ensure compliance to AS9100 Rev D
