Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Director, Integrated Fires and Air/Missile Defense to engage/liaison with the U.S. Army Futures Command, Army Cross Functional Teams and Army staff principals. 
This position is responsible for business development, capture and program management of Integrated Fires and Air/Missile Defense systems and programs
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cross Sector Northrop Grumman employees in the capture, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of Integrated Fires and Air/Missile Defense systems
The selected candidate will resolve competing demands related to program scope, time, cost, customer satisfaction and quality, and will ensure compliance with organizational processes and procedures for legal/contractual/proposal requirements.
Responsibilities will also include keeping Northrop Grumman management apprised of program status, customer satisfaction and risks that might affect program performance, and managing the human resources to ensure team success.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in an engineering or business management field with a minimum of 20 years related experience
  • Integrated Fires and Missile Defense C4I systems domain or operational experience
  • Strategic planning, capture and business development experience
  • Knowledge in the Department of Defense acquisition process, export, and policy governing sales of defense equipment internationally
  • Experience leading and managing geographically distributed programs and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in program planning, budget development and execution; contracting, manpower staffing, risk management, program integration, and the implementation of project processes and controls.
  • Security Clearance: DoD Secret or higher

Preferred Qualifications:
- International capture and program management experience
- IAMD systems project management experience
- Knowledge and experience with Land, Maritime and Airspace Battle Management C2
- Experience with Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Army IAMD programs

- Experience with missile defense, space, lasers, and cyber



Position can be located in Lawton, OK, at U.S. Army Futures Command in Austin, TX, in Northern VA (Mclean), or in Huntsville, AL
