Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Deputy Assistant Program Manager (Software Engineering Manager 2) based out of Manhattan Beach, CA.
What Youll get to Do:
BEDROCK has an immediate need for a Deputy Assistant Program Manager (APM) in their ground systems software area for a restricted program. The Deputy APM will help manage a team which will include 3 technical leads and about 20-25 SW engineers. The technical manager must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal communication, presentation skills, and work closely with the Software Assistant Program Manager (APM). The candidate will be responsible for directing all aspects of the programs software tasking from inception through completion, as well as helping to manage EVMS. This position requires coordination and facilitation within the software area, Systems Engineering, external customers, and site personnel. Candidate will work in a dynamic team environment, ensuring personnel follow well-defined processes. The candidate must have the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction and oversight, and mentor junior engineers.
