The successful candidate will:

  • Drive the use of consistent and best practice processes, methods, and tools across the Structural Integrity and Structural Analysis teams that align with the quality, cost, schedule, and weight objectives of the IPT, in coordination with the MAD CoE Functional Homeroom and the Sector SATMP Community of Practice

  • Perform structural analysis tasks which may include hand calculations, finite element model creation, evaluation and check out, spreadsheet development, and help drive the selection and development of Structural Analysis tools

  • Provide or update Method, Process, and Tools documentation

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years' experience in structural analysis; or Masters Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 3 years' experience in structural analysis

Active In-scope DoD secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain special program access



Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with metallic and composite structures.

Experience with random vibration analysis.

Experience with finite element modeling, specifically FEMAP/NX Nastran/CAE NX.

Ability to identify and analyze critical load paths.

Experience in tool development
