Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an E-2D Flight Test Technician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. 

 

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to): 

The work would involve scheduled, unscheduled maintenance, developmental, experimental and servicing in accordance with manuals and engineering specifications. Company owned tools will be provided to perform the job. The candidate will be willing to cross train with other maintenance fields to meet company objectives during aircraft flight test periods.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma and/or GED and four years' experience on U.S. Navy E2/C2 aircraft
  • Must be familiar with the launch and recovery operations of the E-2/C-2 aircraft
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification as Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI)
  • Certification as E2/C2 Plane Captain
  • Experienced in using MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
  • Working knowledge of the OPNAV Instruction 4790 tool control program
  • Familiar working with IETM's
  • An active DoD secret or top secret clearance
