Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman  If so, we need you to support cybersecurity validation and network system setup for the US Navy as part of the PC-based Open-architecture Reconfigurable Training System (PORTS) program.  This position is located in Middleton, RI.

You will use your experience in employing the Dept. of Defenses (DODs) Cybersecurity Toolkit, specifically the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools, documentation of the results of Certification and Accreditation activities and work as part of the PORTS team on technical or coordination activities. You will also be responsible to prepare the system Security Plans and updates to the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).  You have full responsibility for the configuration of PORTS training systems in a Cybersecurity hardened environment in preparation for successful government acceptance.  Tasking will also include the development of system setup procedures to build PORTS from a cold-iron status to a fully operational system.


Basic Qualifications: 

1. A BS degree in CS/CE/EE or other related engineering sciences discipline and a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience. An additional 4 yrs of specialized experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.  

2. Knowledge of the DODs Cybersecurity Toolkit (i.e. SCAP/ACAS)

3. Security certification to support Information Assurance Technician Level I or II validation (i.e. CompTIA A+ (CE), Network+(CE), Security+(CE), or SSCP.

4. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance; A current Interim Secret is required to start.


Preferred Qualifications: 

1. BS degree in CS/CE/EE or other related engineering sciences discipline

2. Experience with software configuration

3. Experience writing Engineering documentation - Requirements and Design Documents, Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Users Guides
