Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Property/Asset Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Candidate will oversee, manage, and analyze records and logs of property received, transferred, allocated, held and disposed; coordinates property transfers; conducts periodic property inventories; and prepares monthly reports of property status
Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management; develop, recommend, and implement property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports relative to matters such as taxes, leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
Use cross-functional supply chain processes to conduct operations associated with contractual authority, supplier interface, material handling, calibration recalls, equipment repair, use certifications, environmental constraints, records maintenance, HAZMAT management and control to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and disposition.
Controls the borrow payback program to ensure there is efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
Work closely with engineers and IPT leads to understand inventory needs
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be able to collaborate closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.
Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience in Logistics or Inventory Management OR a High School diploma/GED and 7 years of experience Logistics or Inventory Management.
Aptitude of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Active In-scope TS clearance and SSBI with investigation date in last 5 years
Ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access
Familiarity with sub-contract management and program planning
Familiarity with SAP and PASSPORT
Goods movement experience
Existing iBUY access
Experience within the Engineering Property System (EPS)
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
