Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Program Operations has an opening for a Principal Project Management on our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

    

The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing infrastructure projects and serves as liaison between the infrastructure manager, the information technology team, the facilities team and the security team.

    

Essential Functions: 

  • Plan, monitor and control infrastructure projects

  • Manage schedules

  • Prepare status reports for program management and brief status at periodic program reviews

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Develops and implements standardized mechanisms for monitoring project progress

  • Serve as primary customer liaison at the joint infrastructure change board.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 6 years of experience in project management/scheduling/planning OR Masters Degree and 4 years of experience in project management/scheduling/planning 
  • Current and active DoD Secret clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain additional program accesses
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% within the U.S.


Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Understanding of facilities management processes
  • Understanding of IT processes
  • Understanding of classified security processes
  • Current and active DoD Top Secret clearance
