Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Project Analyst 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The selected candidate will be a part of the Sustainment Integration Team for the F- 35 Sustainment Organization to ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Sustainment Tasks and processes. 

 Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the development and provide visibility to all Sustainment objectives and plans 
  • Provide cost, schedule, issues, risk and opportunity visibility to the IPT Leads using the F-35 Risk/Issue Database and/or SharePoint for Sustainment contracts
  • Coordinate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and briefings for submittal to NGC management and various customers
  • Facilitate several weekly and bi-weekly meetings for the Sustainment IPT Leaders, ensuring meetings are conducted in an efficient and consistent manner
  • Capture and follow through on the status of action items developed during various meetings
  • Coordinate development of Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis for issue resolution
  • Support our 24/7 Ops center for all Action Requests

Candidate must be team-oriented and capable of working with multi-disciplined teams, both internal and external to NGC. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years experience in project management, logistics, global supply chain or business
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Tool Suite
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Must be available for occasional weekend and after hours duty to support our 24/7 Ops Center for all Action Requests
Preferred Qualifications: 
MRP analysis experience and knowledge of proposal preparation, contracting, and cost management.
