Northrop Grumman Technology Services (TS) sector is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future for our DIA contract. This position is physically located in Reston, VA. The candidate will directly interface with our customer to deliver PeopleSoft development support for their customized Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM version 9.2 application. Candidates will be working closely with Functional Analysts, other PS Developers, Testers, and Administrators in an Agile framework.




The candidates primary responsibilities include:

 

  •  Technical design and development
  • Product development and analysis activities in support of application enhancements and defects (e.g. writing PeopleCode, building or altering PeopleSoft objects
  • Creating/modifying component interfaces
  • Modification of application engines
  • Writing data mover scripts and/or SQL statements
  • Creating structured query reports (SQRs)
  • Unit testing
  • Preparing detailed technical design documentation
  • Conducting technical design walkthroughs
  • Conducting peer reviews
  • Complying with configuration management practices and established development standards. 



     
Qualifications

This requisition may be filled as either a Principal or Senior Principal based on the qualifications below.

 


Basic Qualifications for Principal requirements:


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer related field with 5 years of relevant experience (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree) or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
- Experience with PeopleSoft development in analysis, design, and development utilizing PeopleTools technologies
- Working knowledge in modifying/creating PeopleSoft PeopleTools Application Designer objects (components, pages,records, fields, SQL, Application Engine, Application Packages)
- Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Top Secret SCI Clearance

- Ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer related field with 9 years of relevant experience (An additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree) or 7 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
- Experience with PeopleSoft development in analysis, design, and development utilizing PeopleTools technologies
- Working knowledge in modifying/creating PeopleSoft PeopleTools Application Designer objects (components, pages,records, fields, SQL, Application Engine, Application Packages)
- Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Top Secret SCI Clearance

- Ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph


Preferred Qualifications

- Development experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 using PeopleCode, Application Designer, App Engine, Integration Broker, and AWE
- Development experience with HCM modules, including Federal HR, Payroll Interface, and ePerformance
- Development experience using PeopleTools 8.5+
- US Federal Government HR systems experience
- Federal HR experience to include personnel action processing (PAR), manager/employee self-service, performance management, compensation, AWE, and/or learning management
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working within an Agile framework

- The candidate must have strong organization and excellent communication (written and oral) skills and must be capable of independently managing time and multiple tasks with minimal guidance from senior technical staff.
