Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Staff Linux Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Reston or Bolling AFB.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's DIA contract.  We are looking for a strong Linux administrator to help us manage our servers across multiple networks.  We are responsible for running several of the Agency's business applications include HR, Training, Benefits, etc.  We use Amazon Web Services (AWS)/C2S to provision servers and configure the environments from scratch but we also use VMWare.  

Roles and Responsibilities: 
Daily system monitoring/Checks
o Disk Space
o CPU utilization
o Application Availability
o Application Performance

General System Administration
o Account/Access Management
o Disk space allocation (LVM)
o Patch applications
o Vulnerability remediation
o Maintain backup/recovery posture
o DR Planning/Testing
o STIG Scans/Vulnerability Management/System Hardening
o Security Testing
o Procedure Documentation (SharePoint/Wiki)
o Scripting (Bash, Python)




Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15 years experience. (An additional 4 years of experience is required in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree)
Must possess and maintain 8570 compliance which includes a Security+ or CISSP certification and CE Certification (RHCSA/RHCE,Linux+).
Must have a current TS/SCI clearance.
Candidates should be flexible to work within a small team to develop ad hoc solutions for our customer with firm knowledge of RHEL6/RHEL7
