This position seeks an experienced program security officer. This is a multi-faceted and multi-customer security position, for the support of complex programs as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. Must be able to interpret and execute a security program for an IC client. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on security related activities, and must be able to articulate this knowledge to best support the contract.  The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: managing a SCIF environment, supporting a fast-paced, high profile program; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc..).  Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and related  briefings. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. 


Basic Qualifications: 


Bachelors degree and 10+ years of related CPSO experience is required or 8 years with MS Degree; An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for Bachelors degree.

Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

8 + years experience with DCID and/ or ICD(s).

Preferred Qualifications: 

Self-starter with minimal supervision


Current and working knowledge of the Intelligence Community.


Familiarity with ICD 503 & 705 processes (and or applicable DCID standards).

 Must be organized and efficient at time management.

 Develop and execute program protection strategies for existing programs, developing programs, or new concepts. 

 Experience supporting classified proposal development and execution.
